Constitutional Review: All about communication!

Writes George Eugenides
It’s hard to believe that some of the central strategic move of the government is not made for communication purposes or even, if…
we don’t want to be so αφοριστικοί, that I pushed of communication springs.
Kind of so it is with the Constitutional Review, which is the new master plan of the government. One can believe seriously about how the moves that will be made will not have a communicative complexion? Personally, I find it hard very to believe.
The prime minister shows that the last time you may avoid a big mistake: the direct election of the President by the people, which create conditions δυαρχίας on the political scene, even if the direct powers of the President were limited. Will not cease to be the substance of an elected official and would create an extra strong pole in a fragmented political system. The proposal for the election by the people, if it fails, the parliamentary process of emergence, on the other hand, could be a negotiable alternative, because, as has been said aptly Vangelis Meimarakis, the direct election would act as a “boogeyman”. And at this point, we have to add the interesting proposal of the SOUTHWEST: to disconnect the election of a President from the dissolution of Parliament, which will ensure a more stable electoral cycles and will disappear also the element of “blackmail” with the vote of parties for the Dcf.
A wrong but not showing how it will avoid the prime minister is the issue of advisory referendums. Originally, in the Constitution there is, so far, somewhere, the concept of “consultative referendum”. Referendums are for 2 reasons: either a very serious national issue on ψηφισμένου bill. The legislature had introduced the institution of the advisory referendum for many reasons, mainly because of the Greek political culture. Greece has the culture of a referendum-which is not necessarily negative-and also the political system does not have the required maturity to not εργαλειοποιήσει for a little power play reasons. Mr. Tsipras believes that the dominance of the entrenched better by the polarized dilemmas and the projection of the image against that of his opponents in the civil society level and in the context of voting, or electoral or δημοψηφισματικών, and estimates that can have an additional tool of domination, now that the image of the waning of the government’s wear.
Will be of course other issues, such as the abolition of the law on liability of ministers, which is crucial and it is crucial to make a change. Again, however, there is the required majority for the non-state universities, which as an institution there are in many foreign countries and create conditions of competition for institutions of higher education in the respective countries. Don’t want a government like the present one a competitive framework for the UNIVERSITIES, which by their decisions, the ministers of Education have served as from January 2015 condemn to prolonged mediocrity.
Like this and on the basis of the intentions that lie, probably the most essential will be the final measure of the party for the restoration of the republic at the Presidential Palace, in spite of the process of Constitutional Revision, at least as promoted. I hope to διαψευστώ in practice!
