In the US, when the economy needs a fix, so do the people. The country is now the world’s largest consumer of coffee. And this addiction to caffeine is being exploited by some unscrupulous producers who’re looking to boost their profit. RT’s Marina Portnaya reports. @MrBlaznboy420 AMURIKUH FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!
What everyone seems to keep forgetting is that the U.S. fucking rules, and so does coffee. And how are Americans “Sheeple” if they are responsible for creating the most industrious and creative Counrty on the planet?
@rainwilds No! : ) I’m having chocolate milk. That helps me you saying that. I have the same motivation. Maybe why it’s been so frustrating is the lack of training. You’re absolutely right. Also many will become unhinged. I decided this year to focus on medicinal herbs more than vegetables. Not that I forgot about the vegetables, something just said ‘get those, you’ll need them.’ I’m not the only one thinking this, I noticed a lot of ‘sold outs’, which is not that common is seed catalog land.
@acuriousbeast Absolutely. The world needs healers; particularly at this time in the world. That was one of my major motivators to study; to help people come of their trance and wake up to reality. Oh, one last thing, I am have a coffee right now!
@rainwilds I would like that. I’ve enjoyed our conversation. I was going to send you one yesterday but thought I should wait. Not really sure why I thought. Bad posture was probably it, cutting of the flow to the vagus nerve:). I’ve had people suggest I should be a counselor. People are always over here pouring out their issues. One place I worked my nickname was Father Confessor because I was the office confidant. Might as well make a little cash for it, lol.
@acuriousbeast I’m just the same with books; have heaps I want to read! Yeah, I quit my career and have gone back to study. Currently studying counseling but will probably go onto psychology. I think self-defense is a good answer. You really do learn how to let go of ego defenses and become assertive and compassionate to yourself. I am going to launch a psychology website in about a month; you might be interested. I’ll friend ya and let you know when it’s up.

And weed is illegal???? This country is ass backwards and twisted for no good reason.
@rainwilds I think I’ve heard of that. I have such a stack of books I need to read! Psychology is something I need to brush up and get some more on in depth knowledge of. I was talking to someone and I said I was thinking about going back to school and one of the subjects I wanted to study was psychology. He asked me why. I thought about it and the only thing I could come up with, which is an honest answer, was ‘self defense’.
@chino8it That sounds tasty! I was just talking with someone the other day who rhapsodizing on the wonders of Nyquil with a beer chaser, the poor man’s version I guess lol. I’m down in Corpus Christi, btw. Too bad the situation is so rough down near the border, I’d be down at la pharmacia picking up a bottle. Wonder how it goes with ‘to kill ya’
@edspacely92 yeaaaaa
@acuriousbeast Drank is a mixture of Sprite and codeine/promethazine cough syrup. While people in NY live in the fast lane, Texas likes to do things slowwwwww
wheres my f**king coffee
I don’t like caffeine, it makes me irritable and violent. The shit is addictive too so I stay away from it completely. The only coffee shop I’d go in is one that sells ganja, because it is not addictive and doesn’t make me an angry person. Yet it is illegal. That is what makes me angry. All the assholes who don’t know anything and persecute people just for being different. Makes me feel like we are stuck in the dark ages.
i drink pu er tea everyday…very healthy
@acuriousbeast I read about in a the book by Peter Levine called “In An Unspoken Voice”. It’s a psychology book; very interesting stuff.
smoke some weed
coffee is nasty
Coffee is a drug in every sense of the world. Addictive, stimulating, has periods of withdrawal, etc.
It is, however, completely harmless unless heavily overdosed on – which is impossible to achieve with any coffee drink, but quite possible with “energy drinks” or “caffeine pills”. Generally speaking, drinking tea or coffee is nothing but beneficial, which is why they’re the single most popular “drug” on the planet, and has been for ages.
A lackluster performance by RT researchers on this one.
