Why India fails in manufacturing?
Answer=1)If you set up any manufacturing unit even following all laws, police,incometax,etc will demand bribe or else they will implicate u in false cases.
2)Electricity rates are much higher or there is no electricity so factories derive electricity from oil which is even more costlier.
3)Transportation is very expensive, again because police demand huge bribe to let trucks pass through their are and also because of exuberantly introduced toll tax.

India lacks the infrastructure to drive development. and more importantly, it doesn’t have a free enough economy to encourage foreign investment. In fact, almost every year, it is ranked least free economy in Asia. So, the opposite is happening as wealthy Indians looks oversea t invest their money instead of in their own country

Slums constitute a very small part of the cities ! 70% of indian live in villages and india has the largest number of youth in the world ! More than china !!
